DINNER TIPS::


·         Serve your meal on a smaller plate – entrée size rather than main size, Your plate will look satisfyingly full with considerably less food.


·         Dish up meals in the kitchen, never from a platter or pot placed on the table, because having extra food in front of you only encourages picking extras from the pot.

·         As soon as you have cooked and served your meal, put away all unused portion; freezing leftovers immediately is a safe way of ensuring that you don’t go back for seconds. 
         
        But only as much as you plan to consume at a sitting; for example,
·          
       A mini-roast, which you can buy at many butchers nowadays, rather than an entire leg of lamb. Sure, you’will have leftovers for later if you ivest in the latter…..
·         But you are more likely to eat more when there are second helpings of an appetising roast in front of you.
·         Make everything you eat the best quality you can afford, because when the focus is on taste, rather than amount, you are less likely to overear.
·         Remember one thing.. eatingis one of life’s great pleasures – maximising enjoyment, not kilojoules.
·         Eat when they are hungry and stop when their appetite is satisfied.
·         Opt for quality, not quantity.
·         Make a resolution to cook and ea at home as often as you can.
·         No time to cook?...... Make time. You can whip up a healthy meal, such as an omelette in a non-stick pan, in 10 minutes.
·         Be alert to cues that stimulate you to eat when you are not hungry.
·         Keeping food out of signt and out of reach.
·         Storing food in serving-size packages.
·         Cooking ample food to prevent excessive leftovers for second helpijngs and picking.
·         Never eat until you are full.
